I put in considerable thought in trying to relate a personal hero to that of Beowulf. When I went for the idea of my dad I thought that it was kind of corny. But who do I know the best and also who do I know the most about? I also cannot think of a better person who relates to the things that stand out about Beowulf.
We will start out by listing a few similarities between Beowulf and my dad. The first thing that comes to mind is bravery. Beowulf comes off as a brave, courageous type that loves to fight and show off his capabilities. But, one thing that is great about this man is how during a showdown between Beowulf and Brecca. They both risked their lives for no reasons, besides the danger. Beowulf in the lead, and with no problem could have beat Brecca.
