OPening Statement

Ladies and Gentleman of the jury, I would first like to thank you for your time and patience in today’s proceedings, but now it is time for you to make a decision that will affect everyone present today in court. My co-council and I have presented fact after fact, and in doing-so we proved that the unfortunate death of Mr. Hunter Knox was due to the moral and vehicular irresponsibility of an impair Drew Greene. The Defense would have you to believe the Defendant was in control of her vehicle and the alcohol that the Defendant consumed earlier that day played no part in this case. When in-fact through the successful testimony of Officer Robin McBride we proved that after two more hours of waiting the Defendant still had enough Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) to blow a 0.06 which is only 0.02 below the legal limit of 0.08 and more than enough alcohol to slow the reaction of any driver.
