In the novel Of Mice and Men, Lenny is somehow related to George and Curley’s Wife. Lenny and George were best friends since childhood. Although George treated Lenny like he cannot do much, he really cared for Lenny and wanted to grant their wish: to own a farm and tend rabbits. Lenny looked up to George and George looked after Lenny. In addition, Curley’s wife was ‘lonely’ because all the other men were throwing horseshoes, and she seduced Lenny into touching her hair, advancing to the relation of her murder. Because of the slight mental disability that Lenny suffers with, he did not listen to George’s sayings about not being allowed to talk to her. To make matters worse, Curley’s wife made him feel sorry for her that she feels rather lonely and that the only person she can talk to is Curley. Moreover, the relationship between Lenny and George as friends staggered because of the trampy woman. George accused Lenny of the homicide and ended up...
