Of Mice and Men, written by John Steinbeck is a wonderful novel full of symbolism, capable of getting in touch with people’s emotions and changing their views on the past. A great attribute of this novel is one of the most extraordinary characters is Lennie. Lennie is mentally challenged, but he does his best to work past this disability and remain one of the most lovable characters to date. To help Lennie get through life, he has a unique set of objectives, personality, relationships, history, and vocation.
Although Lennie is mentally challenged, he does have objectives that he wants to accomplish, though he might not know it. The foremost goal that Lennie dreams of is living on his own ranch with George while tending the rabbits.
