Kelly Clarkson’s song “A moment like this” reflects the character Penelope’s long waiting for Odysseus. The theme that reflects Penelope and song in that they wait to find their love. Personality is also the same, which is patience, loving, curious. Penelope feels that love is life and by judging the song, Kelly Clarkson feels the same, which is the love is everything but she feels lonely about her life.
Penelope waited long for Odysseus because she believes that he is still out there and trying to find a way to get back home. That’s why she don’t want to marry another person, like she said in the story Odyssey “let me finish my weaving before I marry; but every night in torch I unwove it.” She did this because she was trying to take much time as possible so she could wait longer for her love.
