Occupational Health and safety

Surfing is one of my favorite sports, and it requires large waves for a good day of surfing. During a trip to Florida in 1996 I had a frightful experience with the waves and the sea. I was in the learning stages of surfing and I really enjoyed the experience of surfing because it gave me a sense of freedom among the water. Back then I was a beginner, even though I had a couple of accidents, surfing was all about taking the best wave, taking the risk, which is how big surfers come about. Hurricanes are very common in Florida during this time of the year, and I had the experience of being there through hurricane seasons before.
It was a day of rough waters and large waves, perfect conditions for surfers that would come out in large numbers to surf those risky waves. I thought I was ready for this and I really wanted to try the more advanced stages in surfing, so gathered my belongings and headed straight to the beach.
