nursing an art or science

In an attempt to answer the question whether nursing is an art or science, I must say that I think nurses are trying too hard to define their roles. My opinion only. Of course nursing is a science. We do A to achieve B. For example, we know to turn a patient frequently to avoid bedsores and the right nutrition is important. This information is based on empirical knowledge. It’s been tested and proved. But nursing is also an art.
