Not up for Adoption

Imagine being a young child at five years old, already being in the foster care system since you were born. You have never had any parents and don’t know what it feels like to be truly loved. When two parents want to adopt you, excitement rushes through your body. It is your time to be a part of a family and no longer will you be a foster child. Finally, you have two parents who want to love and take care of you for the rest of your life. But what if the foster care system will not allow these two parents to take care of you because they are of the same sex? Your chance to finally grow up and live a healthy life with two parents that love and want to take care of you is now taken away from you because of foster cares decision that homosexuals are unfit to parent. Is this fair to you as a child? Being a good parent in my mind does not have anything to do with being either homosexual or heterosexual. Qualities of good parenting are loving your children and taking care of them ...
