The Condition of the American Classroom Essay

Charlie Wunderlich thinks it is safe to say that the American classroom has changed greatly over the years. We no longer have teachers who wear their hair pulled tightly in a bun and carry a ruler to slap the hands of disobedient children; the harmony that was once seen amongst teenagers is not there. Sexual innuendos are not shockers anymore but rather sadly reflect the truth that sexual tension has invaded the hallways and classrooms, and what would have been considered inappropriate to say in front of adults and young females is now said under the idea of “freedom of speech”.
