Non-voting In America

Low voter turnout or non-voting, is a major issue in the United States today. By looking at demographic characteristics and institutional obstacles associated with nonvoting, we can understand fully of the Demographic characteristics associated with low voter turnout, and the Institutional reason. It is much like voting in the schools, such as Fremd were it is a big part of caring, many kids don’t care about petty voting like student council or prom, because in must cases it doesn’t concern them.. Institutional and demographic problem face the U.S. everyday, and sometimes we are faced with these problem without even knowing it.

Demographic problems are a result of the nature of people. Education plays a major role in voter turnout. Those that are not knowledgeable about politics are known to be less affiliated than those with more extensive educational backgrounds.
