Video “Virtual Wasteland”



“no mans land”

This video took a lot of different aspects of technology and gave it a rather grim feeling. I think it was trying to make people think about what technology is and what it is doing to us. One of the speakers Faith Popcorn offers scary vision of those who obsessively "go deeper into their computers."
The job of this video seemed to be to inform people about what technology has to offer and to be careful about how you use it. While I watched this video I felt I was watching the movie The Matrix. This gave a grim outlook to what the world would end up like if we let computers or machines have a major role in our lives.
