Night Project Assignment A

In Spring 1944 the Germans invaded Elie Wieselfs home town, Sighet in Transylvania. Elie was a teenager then. He was taken to Nazi death camps and was miraculously liberated in 1945. Elie Wiesel waited ten years until he wrote his autobiographical novel, Night. The novel contained his and every one elsefs experiences within the camps, and how it deeply transformed him physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
gFrom the depths of the mirror, a corpse gazed back at me[him]h (109). This was the affect the Nazi death camps had on Elie Wiesel. When he was living in Sighet he was a healthy, strong teenager. But his life was shattered when the Nazis came and invaded his life. He was taken to Auschwitz concentration camp. There he endured what can only be the worst nightmare imaginable in his life.
