New Point of View

When I first came to this country, I did not speak a word of English. Due to this lack of ability, I was placed in inferior classes with many crude classmates, many with spiked hair and had chains and leather-made items all over them. I was always the center of ridicule mainly because I was unable to strike back. I gradually adapted to this condition by building an indestructible wall around myself to protect myself from getting hurt. I became lonely and isolated that I could go to school for a day and not say a single word.
