I am considered a leader because I am not only able to focus people towards the goal but also grow them into future leaders. I believe the path you take to reach the goal is as important as the goal itself. A true leader is a person who is able to mentor his teammates to learn and demonstrate leadership and help them build long lasting relationships while being a part of the team. I believe I have learnt and demonstrated this ability consistently in all endeavors I have participated in. These endeavors have been ranging from professional world to sports and community building activities. My confidence in my abilities has been strengthened by the belief that Sapient leadership has bestowed in me, by providing me with the opportunity to play the role of a manager in just two years as compared to a normal person getting this opportunity after five years of experience.
