Only 2 weeks to go, and we would be freed at last. Paul Robeson Academy was restless, half-empty, and not to mention, super hot and sticky. This was the time of year where you really hated sitting next to the kid with the urine odor; it really stunk. Despite the pee-pee kid, P.R.A was known for being a great disciplinary school for the gifted and talented where things were always together and organized, uniforms were perfect, and the student’s behaviors in line. But at this point, all that went out the window, the Principal Mr. Johnson even gave up trying to keep us in array. Heck, it was June.
The day seemed like any other June day with the sub. We just hung out-in class. Ms. Simon, the newspaper instructor was absent, and we had Mr. Smith- so we just chilled.
