Mythology/ Ritual Paper(Baptism)

In my essay I choose to write about the ritual of baptism. When someone is baptized, they are being cleansed at an early age to live righteously. The story behind being baptized is that your being forgiven for your sins and any future sins that you commit. By taking Christ into your life, your being saved to be accepted in heaven.
Personally I think that every religion has a way of cleansing one for their sins and I believe that when you are cleansed you become closer to God. Sub-consciously your accepting intuition, gut, sincerity, ...
