My Understanding of the School Dress Code

I was asked to respond to an opinion paper written by Amanda-Lynn Baskwill. The topic of the opinion paper was the current dress code. After reading the paper, I would make the following comment.
This school has a handbook for staff that contains the regulations and policies that we have developed over the years of BRHS. These policies have been adopted to give a definite direction for the school. Prior to the current year, there was a dress code in the handbook which had been written many years ago. It is the mandate of the administration of the school to review these policies at least on an annual basis and more frequently if required.
