Looking back at my life, there must've been at least twenty different types of careers that I wanted to pursue as a profession. Some of these professions were fantasy jobs. Jobs like being an astronaut, becoming the president of the United States, or even becoming a jet fighter pilot. I would've loved doing any of these things for the rest of my life, but things change, as do you, when you get older.
I researched many careers before I graduated high school, and the one that struck me the most was computer engineering. I first learned about this career when representatives from Polytechnic University came to my school and spoke about all degree programs that they offer at their school. Computer Engineering struck me the most because of all the different things you can do in that particular field. It's not like other careers when you do one thing and one thing only.
