My reasons for wanting to attend Ross University, School of Medicine

Bang! The sound was loud and quick. It sounded like a car backfiring; but the second one came quickly, and it was apparent that it was not a car backfiring at all. The sounds were gunshots. I looked around to see if everything was O.K. Blood was everywhere, and people were scrambling to get out of the pool. This was the day that Megan, my friend since the sixth grade, was shot. The paramedics arrived and Megan was rushed to the hospital. At the hospital the doctors informed Megan’s family that she was now stable, but the next few days would be critical. I can remember praying that Megan would be all right; however, that day at the pool was the last day that I got to see my friend Megan. Megan died at age 18. Tracing back through all of the events that have occurred in my lifetime, this event was most important in my decision to become a doctor.
While Megan was in the hospital, I had the opportunity to observe the doctors that worked diligently to save her life. Duri...
