My personal goals while attending the University of Phoenix


On a spring day in May, at a college graduation, I found myself reflecting about years passed. When I was in high school my goal was to become a registered nurse. During my first three years of high school I thought that dream would be fulfilled with the grades I was getting. Then came my senior year. For some reason that I cannot explain, I became lazy in my studies. I still had a 3.6 grade point average but it was enough to hurt my chances of receiving a scholarship to the nursing program taught at Yuba Community College.

I did take some college courses after high school but found that I had no set goals of what I wanted to do in life and decided to quit college and get married.
