My Life Changing Experience


Recently my life has changed a tremendous amount. In the past couple of months, my family received the news that my father is being mobilized with the military to go to Iraq. There have been many rumors that this is going to happen and it finally did. When my father got the call, we were in St. Louis at the Union Station Mall and he was very upset. After all of this news, my father realized that the days he had left with his family were limited and he needed to start spending as much time as he could with them. When we were in St. Louis and he received notice that they were going, he began thinking about what all he needed to do. My father never cries, and I didn’t know he got the news. I turned around in the mall and he started to cry. I didn’t even have to ask what was the matter because I could tell by his expression that it wasn’t good.
