My life changes after the September 11th Tragedy

Almost a year ago the United States of America suffered the worst tragedy in its history when terrorist attacks in New York City brought down the twin towers killing thousands of people. I never thought that such a disaster could take place in the United States, and I never realized the great impact that one event could have on American society and the whole world until it happened. Some examples of the impact of the September 11th tragedy on my life are the emotions that it made me feel, also the fact that I do not think there is a place safe enough to live anymore, and the fact that my sister is afraid to come visit us as well as my father is not traveling as frequently as he did before.
First of all, the September 11th tragedy had influence on my feelings. The terrible disaster really made me feel bad and scared. I was sleeping when the tragedy took place, and by the time I woke up the twin towers were gone. I don’t remember what my reaction was...
