My Last Glimpse of Life



It was a busy day, just like every other. My friends and I were doing what any other teenager does best, hang around. We were loafing around at the corner of the block talking about what to do for the day. Of course we were cutting school, it’s just too boring to sit in one room for forty minutes. Just listening to some person we don’t know lecture us on what we so called need to know for life, how can we trust them? Also how do they know what we need to know in life, they are only teachers and not everyone will become a teacher in life? Besides, our attention spans only last for like six minutes these days, maybe even less. But anyway, that is not the point of the matter. We decided to cut a day of school and do something fun for a change, but this was one day we wouldn’t forget. We definitely had no fun that day, as a matter of fact no one did.
