My Experiences with Writing

Over the years you are taught a certain way to do things. Then college comes and you have to
learn to do those things the “college” way. Writing for me has been quite difficult since I’ve come
to college. Grade School through High School I’ve always written essays in a different style.
Now that I’m in college I’m expected to write in the MLA format, which has very different
guidelines than what I’m used to.
Though the MLA format can be quite difficult to understand at first, I am certain once you
do understand, it will help you to become a better writer. MLA has taught me the correct way to
write grammatical sentences and how to generate ideas better.
