My commitment to America’s Future

In 1999 my dad decided to run for a political position in our community. He entered this race after the deadline for his name to be posted on the ballot so he had to run as a write-in candidate. He went door-to-door campaigning for this office and did his best to inform people about his entrance into this election. On the night of the elections, we got together at a friend’s house and listened for the results on the radio. My dad ended up winning the race for this position by a fairly large amount. For the last four years, my dad has done his best to serve his community to the best of his ability and is planning on running again.
