My name is Maria Anacleto, but everyone calls me Bica. I was born in Brava a small Island within the republic of Cape Verde. I am the oldest of my five siblings, one boy, Fransisco and four girls, Alice, Margarita, Gracia, and Jada. We all grew up under one roof. My mother, Michela and father, Athur moved away from Cape Verde for a better life here in America, and I believe they made the right choice....
