Renaissance meaning "re-birth" descirbes a style of philosophy, visual art,
architecture, theater, literature, and music for this period. Renaissance
music started around 1450 and ende around 1600 when the Barque Music
era began. At the beginning of the Renaissnace Europeans started to think
less about the church and more about life here on Earth. Education
became more avaliable to everybody and not just the wealthy not too
mention their attitudes about themselves also changed during this period.
Rich people began to help artists who excelled in visual arts, literature, and
music, leading to hte great growth in all areas of study. Individuals from all
backgrounds who had any talent could travel around europe and show off
their talents to whoever would listen to them. On some occasions
musicians traveled with their patrons so that they could interact with other
musicians and hear their music and discuss ideas for new music. One
