I personally like all types of music; I am very versatile when it comes to my listening taste. But I think that the two that touch me the most, or help me through things would have to be, New Age, and Latin contemporary music. As far as New Age is concerned the beats and the lyrics are very soothing, they help me get my mind of things when I’m faced with stressful situations; I like to seclude myself in a private place, dim the lights, and just relax into the music, and allow the lyrics to take me somewhere different and far. As far as contemporary Latin music, that type of music always reminds me of my culture and of where I came from; especially when I’m dancing to the music, I feel as though I’m expressing where I come from through my moves. ...
