2. a) You medulla oblongata is a vital part of your brain. It makes sure your body performs the most important functions, such as breathing and digestion. It sends nerve impulses to parts of your body so you could move. It also tells body organs to work, like telling your heart to beat, lungs to breathe in and out, and stomach to digest. It also makes sure other body parts are working.
b) The medulla oblongata is located at the bottom of your brain, right above the spinal cord.
3. If your cerebellum was not working properly, you may not be able to walk right, communicate, play sports, or perform other activities easily as a normal person does.
