It is a Tuesday morning, and with that is the arrival of many new records. They will stock the record stores with the hope of a good week in sales. There is a decrease in music sales, and most of the blame is taken by online download services. Instead of going to the record store, a tremendous amount of computer users decides to download to get a sneak preview of the CD before purchasing. With downloading, they have brought up a prodigious amount of criticism from artists, and their labels. Some artists would not like to see their work publicized free to everyone to download. Then, others would like the expansion of their music through this. The record labels would like downloading to be illegal or banned because of their lack luster sales. Also, many companies would not mind downloading of music with a small fee. With that being said, the argument still remains, should music downloading be illegal?
