Muscle Cars retrospect

Through out time, people all around the world have placed value on their material possessions. The basis of this value is often the amount of time or money it takes to build or design the object, but occasionally it is much more complicated. In some cases, the value of an object is not reflective of the build cost, but based more on its rarity and the place in people’s hearts that it has created. No other American past time has built such a nest in peoples hearts around the country as muscle cars have.
There is no way to truly describe the reason that the 1970 Superbird is worth over 21 times its original MSRP according to Muscle Car Review statistics in 1999. Each collector looks at this car through his own eyes, and they all see a different memory, a different time in America. For some, it takes them back to a better day, when cars were transformed from just a mode of transportation to a means of expression and an art.
