Mr president

Dear Mr. President,
Prescription drug coverage has been an issue addressed in recent elections. Americans listen to prospective presidents keep this issue at the top of their platform. Yet for some reason it always seem to be the first issue dropped when elected. Millions of elderly each year go without the medication they need simply because they can not afford the insurance and/or the prescription. This is something that needs to be stopped. Everyone should be able to receive the medications they need even if they can not afford it.
I recently started working for my brother, Dr. Thomas Schmeiser, as his medical assistant. Most of the patients that I see are on multiple medications. They aren’t just strapped for cash to buy one or two prescriptions. It’s more like they are on six to seven and often times even more.
