Sleepers


Sleepers is a movie beautifully written, produced and directed by Berry Levinson. The main actors of this film are Kevin Bacon as Sean Nokes, Robert DeNiro as Father Bobby and the four young boys played by Joe Perrino as Lorenzo, Brad Renfro as Michael, Geoff Wigelor as John and Jonathan Tucker as Tommy. These boys, 15 years later and in the same order, are played by Jason Patric, Brad Pitt, Ron Eldard and Billy Crudup.

Sleepers is a heart wrenching drama about four young boys whose lives were corrupted after being sent to reform school due to a dumb prank that cost a man’s life. There, they were tortured, beaten and raped by the guards. The boys told nobody about the pain and suffering they had to bear while being in that reform school up until 15 years later.
