Overview:
The basic idea for this mousetrap is an open faced box with a swinging door which is initially suspended on top of the box. The “mouse” will enter through the opening in the box and trigger a type of lever which will release the swing door. There will be two latches on either side of the swinging door which will lock the door once it is shut.
Procedure:
1) Cut a box out of paper 7.5 in. by 7.5 in.
2) Mark off a grid of 9 boxes with sides of 2.5 inches.
3) Cut out the four corner squares with tabs. See figure 1.
4) Fold remaining section into open faced box (do not glue together yet)
5) You will also need to cut out 2 more squares of the same size.
6) Roll one of these squares that was cut out around your pencil and glue to form a cylinder. This will be part of the...
