it seems to ms. blaze that this brother suffers from low self-esteem. i think you sense that is the case as well, dearheart. abuse wears many disguises. the constant manipulation or ‘controlling’ of one’s environment is but one of them.

you have two choices: 1.) like janet, get back in control, or, 2.) make like her brother, and ‘beat it’. to continue on this path will only lead to further manipulation, and could ultimately escalate to physical abuse.
