Most important management function

After reading and studying the four management functions I have come to the conclusion that the “Planning” function has the most significance within an organization. To me planning is setting organizational goals and creating a strategy and/or blue print on how to achieve these goals. Successful managers will find the perfect mix of efficiency and effectiveness when completing these goals.
