In an age that exalts wealth and superficiality, people often times overlook or simply deny the facts in fear of knowing the brutal truth. Public figures are often glorified allowing them to act, behave, and live a seemingly magnificent life. However, behind the superstar life is what lies beneath the darkness of ones own soul and is where the truth lies. When in fact the truth is hidden away by the bright shining light of the public personification. Thus, Kobe Bryant has now unveiled what may be the truth which to many is undeniably difficult to come to face with. At this point maybe his public image is not as squeaky clean as his brand new Mercedes, or as shiny as the four million dollar diamond he bought his wife. In fact all that can be deducted from his actions is that his “moral bank account” needs a wealth of deposits.
