Morality vs. Majority

Campus debates, protests, public discussions, are all necessities that we are able to exercise in our daily life- and why? It is simply our born right as a citizen of the United States of America. The first amendment of the U.S. Constitution clearly states that all United States citizens have right to have freedom of speech. That includes religious affiliations, media, and everyday citizens to proceed with executing their beliefs, thoughts, ideas, and information.
Without this right that is given to us, we wouldn’t have the thought provoking discussions or exchange of ideas through our classrooms on campus.
