Monster

Background/History

When it comes to ideas, Jeffrey Taylor is the master of the monsters. Back
in the late '80s he founded his own recruitment advertising firm. By the
early '90s he was experimenting with electronic bulletin boards as a tool to
recruit employees for his clients called The Monster Board. Taylor's timing
was matchless. Something called the web was taking off at the same time. TMP
Worldwide bought the enterprise a year later and in 1999, it was renamed
Monster.com.

Monster.com is an internet site that is offered as an opportunity for job
seekers to examine the market for available positions that will match their
requirements. This way job seekers can shop around for a job that will be
most appealing to them. The site also offers employers to shop around for
the best suited employee since there is availability to post résumés on the
