Monster Diary Entry

Long awaited five years have passed, since my trial had finished. Remembering each minute of that extensive trial and being locked up. No one can never forget about jail. No one can leave something like that behind them. Everyday freedoms taken from you; can’t see your family, can’t play ball with the boys and I even missed school. But that’s not all. The cells, people, barbed wire fence, armed guards and our orange jump suits. These things never made it easier there. These things haunt you for the rest of your life.

Last night I had a dream of all that happened five years ago. It started in jail, I was in the cafeteria having breakfast. Well I was supposed to have breakfast. Nothing was eaten. I had no appetite. Cowering like a mouse in the corner, afraid to do anything.

Kathy O’Brien was sent to me that day. That was the first time I had met her. O’Brien was a small women with red hair. Extremely serious she was about the case. Felt like she really wanted to help me. ...
