Money Makes the World go Around

It is true that money is not everything but let us face it: sometimes it is. In El Paso the community shares many similarities with Juarez because after all it is a border community. We share the beautiful and unique Chihuahua Desert and Hispanic culture, and sadly we share poverty too. El Paso has as high number of citizens who barely make ends meat to survive. They either work over time at a minimum paying job to pay all their bills or they live off food stamps and welfare while looking for a decent paying job. El Paso needs a better education program for its youth in the community to solve its poverty problems. An education plan that will better direct adolescents towards their career choice will help El Paso’s economy change for the better. Whether it is in helping them continue their education in college or entering a trade school focused on needed jobs skills, this will help the youth to become successful and independent in the career of their choice.
