Hmmm…he’s that guy, the one in the corner, the man sitting next to you on the subway, the dapper gentlemen waiting in the hotel lobby, he is always the one you don’t suspect, always. The mafia is a secret society bonded by a code of brotherhood and silence; the mafia was led by the Cosa Nostra, the head of all the families. There were three major families The Gambino family, The Colombo family, and The Genovese family.
One of the notorious mob families was the Gambino family. The best boss the Gambino family ever had was Carlo Gambino. When Carlo Gambino took control he turned the Gambino family into the biggest, richest and most successful family ever in the history of Cosa Nostra. When Anastasia died it placed Genovese in a dominant position, but one that Gambino was determined would be short lived.
