Miracle Worker

“Miracle Worker” was a great movie by Arthur Penn. Even it has

some differences from the Play it is still a great movie. Setting of the movie

was incredible. Performance of all the character were great, especially

Patty Duke’s acting as Helen Keller. Helen Keller was a girl who had lost her

sense of seeing, hearing, and speaking. Andrew Pine’s acting as James was

great. James’s wonderful sense of humor made everyone laugh.

In the movie there was some scenes missing which was in the play

“The Miracle Worker” by William Gibson. In the play there was some

conversation when Anne Sullivan was at the railway station. She was going

to Washington to take care Helen. There was another part missing that

Helen stopped her mother when she was going to the garden. Another part

that was missing in the movie, when Helen’s father Keller told Annie that

she cannot teach Helen.
