Mid-term Reflection

Over the course of this trimester, I have made an incredible amount of progress as a reader and writer. When this class began, I had little experience with analyzing literature. I have always been an avid reader, but I had never previously taken the time to “read between the lines” and analyze what I read for deeper meanings. Great literature contains many important messages that are not apparent at first glance. A good reader has to interpret the text he reads and be able to make connections, determining what the author is really trying to say in the text. Over the course of this trimester, I have become able to just that.
