HEY BOY, ARE YOU EYEBALLING ME!” those were the first words I heard as I opened my eyes and raised my head off the hard, brown leather seat of the bus. The bus reminded me of my old junior high school bus, and for a minute I had a flashback after I heard shouting at the front. I thought I was back in 6th grade and my old gym teacher who was ex- military and mean as a pit bull was making sure everybody got to class on time as he had always done. But when I came to, and my blurry eyes adjusted, I quickly came back to reality. What I did see was a large, bald black man who looked as if he was 6 feet tall, and that was while he was leaning over at the waist. He had to have been about 2 inches from some kid’s face, shouting all sorts of commands. While this was taking place, all I could do was think, “What have I got myself into?”, that single moment I knew my life was about to change.
