Men and Women

The contrast of men to women in the planning of a

special occasion is extreme. Most women preferring to

plan a slightly more sophisticated gathering, where

men are more comfortable with a toned down, come as you

are type mind set.

When selecting the food for the occasion, a woman

is more apt to find a fine eating establishment or a

respectable catering service to provide a delectable

assortment of finger sandwiches and appropriate ordourves.

Men, however; are generally more inclined to have one of

their buddies cook some steaks or hot dogs on the barbecue

grill and serve it with chips and potato salad. As far

as drinks are concerned, women would generally like to

have a nice wine or champagne to celebrate a special

occasion. In contrast, whether he will admit it or not,

most men would prefer to have beer or hard liquor to

celebrate, whatever the occasion may be!
