What is Melanoma?
Melanoma is a malignant skin tumour that involves the skin cells which produce pigment. Melanoma is an aggressive type of cancer that can spread very rapidly. Melanomas are rarer, one in every 35 people develop them. They can be fatal if they are not detected and treated. Once they develop, a melanoma may spread throughout the body.
