If one thing has played a role in changing the worlds history it would have to be the use of weapons. Without them empires would fall and people would go starving. The medieval time was a period where new weapon designs flourished. Some weapons that changed the course of history were the sword, siege weapons, and the use of bows and arrows.
The first thing that comes to mind when you?re thinking of medieval heroes, like King Arthur and his knights of the round table is swords. No knight or adventurer left home without one. A sword is a symbol for power and prestige; they are made from strong metal and used to kill. There are many types of swords invented.
