Media Influences

Today’s generation has various media influences that are blamed for their behavior. Television, video games, music, and movies are most heavily under fire by disgruntled parents with problem children who can’t seem to take control of their household. A child can see his favorite wrestler every Sunday, Monday, and Thursday supposedly beating the tar out of his opponents or vice versa. That same child can then play Wrestlemania XIV on his Playstation 2 and emulate what he just saw. What happens, however, when that child tries those wrestling moves out with their friends later on that evening or the next day at school and someone becomes seriously injured, paralyzed, or killed by a body slam gone bad? Who is to blame? The child, the parent, or what the child saw and played the night before?
Can the child be blamed for such a thing? One who is still growing and learning about the world around him? Legally, anyone under 18 can not be truly held responsible for their actions althou...
