The Australian film industry has been in business for the past one hundred years. The early movies such as Ned Kelly (the first Australian movie) focused more towards the history aspect of things, where as the resent films explore all different types of genres. The Genre is classified to be the back bone of any movie; hence I’ve decided to delve into “Comedy in Australian movies and how the issue is exposed with the aid of humor”. ‘The Wog Boy’, ‘Cracker Jack’, ‘The Castle’, ‘Kangaroo Jack’ and’ The dish’ make up the movies I’ve decided to investigate.

The five movies had been pictured between the 90’s and the 00’s. “The Wog Boy” was filmed in the outskirts of Melbourne, this is evident because we can see the cars which contain the Victorian number plate and we see Actors, during the course of the movie entering a Night Club near St Kilda. “Cracker Jack” was a Super hit in the Australian Film industry in 2002.
